Department of Food Science and Technology

Food industries are the technologies that transform foodstuffs from vegetables, fruits, grains and other materials from materials that are unacceptable for human consumption and less preservable to food materials and products that are more acceptable for human consumption and more preservable. As a result of these technologies, these products can be marketed to other countries and thus lead to the possibility of improving The agricultural reality is due to the increased demand for agricultural products, the improvement of their prices, and the possibility of preserving and storing them for seasons other than their availability.
Through the department's study courses, the student obtains sufficient practical knowledge and skills for food industry applications, and the graduate has the ability to work in food industry laboratories, food control, food quality control and standardization devices, and quality and suitability inspection in the border regions of foodstuffs.
